CELL GARDEN
Cell Garden explores the link between people, nature, and health by comparing the
human body to a planet, where cells act as tiny creatures mirroring our lives.
Just as pollution harms ecosystems, contaminated air, water, and food disrupt the body’s balance.
Using 3D modelling, I visualised cellular activities like coughing and vomiting, and
developed film photos with seawater, soapy water, and soil water to reflect pollution’s impact.
The project includes a dual-sided manual, poster, and a short documentary structured
around cause and effect. Edited in a square TV format with a muted, uneasy tone,
the film combines experiments and mixed media, leaving its interpretation open to viewers.
